Human nature is really funny. :111:

Fear is five times stronger than GREED!

Missing the boat hurts five times worse than breaking EVEN!

Kinda like kicking yourself when you KNEW it was a GIFT HORSE but there were other things that took the FIRST SPOT to buy.

Anyway we are all in the same boat, I just pray it ain't Noah's Ark.

If you're the seller you can ask any price you want. Doesn't mean you'll get it.

Am I the only one that views the 08 Buffs as a flavor of the month type thing? I spent nearly 20 years in a different hobby and it was common to see demand for certain series or sets catch fire for a while but then fall back to earth eventually. While there's no doubt the 08 Buffs are special I can't help but to wonder what will happen to their premiums when a newer/hotter/rarer series comes along.

What do you long-timers think?

They will always ahave a PREMIUM.

How big who know?

Look at the Jackie Robinson $5 gold piece around 1995 ish.

Frankly, the modern coins are interesting to a point: and that would be especially the LOUSY SPOUSY as that is the only BAR IN TOWN and it's around 2:00 a.m. and closing as far as the gold price goes.

Once the bar really closes at about $2,500 an ounce the lousy spousy will cost around $1500 to $2000 each then.

That will price out the cheap skates who won't even buy the poor LOUSY SPOUSY a drink, right?

I suggest one stock up at the only US MINT BAR in the nation.

But that's just me - time to crawl back under my rock and wait for the doubling....
